You may be feeling unsure where to start on your wellness journey or what needs to change. It feels like you have so much on your plate and you don’t know how to prioritize your goals and actually stick to them. You envision the life you could have, but are not sure what area to focus on first.
You’re not alone. Trying to work on wellness without first assessing overall life functioning is like driving in a car with lumpy, lopsided tires. As a therapist, one of the first places I start to gauge client well-being is through the wellness wheel.

How to use the Wellness Wheel
Color in each life section according to the 0-10 scale (0- being unsatisfied & 10 being totally fulfilled). Identify areas where your “tire” is more flat and create a S.M.A.R.T. goal for that area. Make sure the goal is realistic to YOU.
Another way to use this worksheet: take it to your therapist and create treatment goals together. Working on one area at a time will actually increase the balance in all areas- wellness tends to spill over. Enjoy!
